You Polish May Box

Hey Everyone! Hope you all are having a great weekend! I'm excited to bring a post today of my May box from You Polish!

When I received it in the mail, I was excited and when I opened it I discovered I won a free cuticle oil! And Lauren must have known me or something, cause the scent was Gardenia! Gardenia is my favorite beyond favorite scent!

Alright, let's get to it!

(Sorry for the darkness), Here is the May box! As you see I got two polishes: Like Totally and Neither Here. Like Totally is a LE one! Also, that came in the box was a jewelry kit to make polish jewelry (I plan on using mine for a Mother's Day gift). And the Cuticle Oil that I won! I was soo stoked to see I won anything!

(I'm soo sorry it is sideways, I thought I flipped with my settings before deleting the pic, computer problems today). This is You Polish's Cuticle Oil. I'm not sure if I knew she made cuticle oil! But let me tell you, I soo would buy more from her! The smell is amazing, as matter of fact, my mom smelled it and put it on her neck for perfume (silly mom). But, it went on with a breeze with the rolling ball. And let me tell you I went to bed and I could still have the smell of the light fragrant of Gardenia! And my nails/cuticles felt soo good! And look at the bottle and cap! The cap has crystal like beads in it and the cap is a light pink! If you are looking for a cuticle oil. Definitely go to You Polish for it!

This is Neither Here with an accent of Like Totally. Neither Here is amazing polish. I absolutely love it, full packed of black, white and pink glitter. Best thing about Neither Here is I didn't have to fish for the glitters. Different sizes of glitter in this one as well. And when I removed it, it was an easy easy polish to remove, NEVER have that much of an easy with a glitter polish! This is a beautiful blue and color! I so would go back to this one again : Neither Here

On my accent nail is Like Totally. It has neon glitter in it, from yellow to pink to green! And I thought it was a white polish with the glitter but nope, it is more like an ivory/offwhite. I decided to do this as an accent to go with Neither Here. I actually like the combo! This one went on a breeze as well. I didn't have to fish for the glitter on this one either. Which I love! Taking it off was a breeze as well!

Gosh, what can I say about this box. EVERYTHING that is good! Unfortunately, this box that I got was sold out! And I believe the one that had the other one (pink) was sold out too! BUT check out Lauren's facebook page: You Polish for updates on June! At this time she only puts out 20 boxes each month! Also, the Like Totally is a LE. I just had to show you guys how amazing she is and how amazing this box was. And this is my first one! I would get another one from her!

This retails for 16.99 for the box.

You can find You Polish at : https://www.facebook.com/youpolish?fref=ts and her esty shop at: https://www.etsy.com/shop/YouPolish

Check her out! You won't be disappointed! I know I'm not!

Until later keep polishin' and colorful!

China Glaze Hologlam 2013 Part 1

Hey Everyone! Hope ya'll all are doing well! Today I am bringing you China Glaze Hologlam 2013! I finally got the whole collection! Since there are 12 of them, I'm gonna break this up into to post! Make it easier on me and ya'll! I know this has been posted everywhere online with different bloggers, BUT I wanted to do this post to give my point of view :)!So, let's get started:

Here is Don't Be A Lunatic! Is a pretty Aqua Blue. And the holo in this one is amazing! Definitely pops in the sun as you see here! This was 2 Coats and no topcoat, actually I didn't put any topcoat on any of them! The formula and applying was easy to deal with and love it. This is one of my favorites from this collection (I have a few that are).

Sci-Fly By is another great one from this Collection, its a really pretty blue and the holo in it pops as well when the sun hits it! I couldn't stop staring at my nails! Honestly, when holo pops I can't stop staring at my nails! This is two coats as well and the formula and applying on this was easy to deal with as well! Another one of my favorites!

Okay, this one for sure is one of my favorites, this is Strap on your Moonboots! I was thrilled when I had this my hand to check out with it! Strap on Your Moonboots is a navy holo! And I love the depth of this blue! It soo pretty! 2 coats of this and the formula and applying was easy as well! No topcoat of couse... I think out of all the polishes from this collection that this one is actually the strongest of the holo believe it or not! This one might have been a little bit camera shy, :).

Finally, a color that is not in the blue category (this collection does have a lot of blues, which is not a bad thing, for me anyways). This one is Astro Hot! I am not a pink person (which you will learn about me, ha). But this one I can see myself wearing quiet a bit! 2 Coats and again the formula and applying was easy. I will say I can't remember if it was this one or another one that did have just a little bit of streakiness when applying but after two coats it fixed it.

Okay, first let me say this is the only one out of the collection I got the silver cap! I have heard of the controversity about the caps on this collection and this I did not get at the same place as I got the others. So, I was surprised to see the silver cap, needless to say! Okay, this is OMG A UFO! I am soo thrilled to have this in my collection of polishes you have no idea! I am loving this Olive green color. And then when the sun hits is (as the others) absolutely stunning! 2 easy coats, I do know that with the first coat you could seeing some 'balding' with it, I could have done 3 coats and it probably would have made it better, but overall 2 coats did just fine!

I'm not sure why but it my blog won't let me put the next polish below the top paragraph, so I will just talk about it down here and you still have the picture. Sorry! Here we go with the last one on this post.

The picture above is Infra Red! *Side Note* My mom came to me the other day looking for a red polish (she loves red polish, and I have quiet a few). So, I gave her a choice between this one and another one, she chose this one. She has gotten A LOT of compliments on it. It actually is not a true red. It actually has a purple undertone to it, but I think it is a beautiful color. And when the sun hits it, you won't stop staring at your nails! 2 coats on the picture above and no problems whatsoever with this one at all. This one is another one of my favorites (like I said I have a lot of favorites in this collection).

Overall, this part of the collection is amazing! I love the holo effect. I know some people have said that the holo is pretty weak. And yes I can see that in some of the collection (wait for the others to be posted about). BUT if I can go outside and the sun hits my polish and I see the holo that is enough for me. Granted if you go inside you aren't gonna see it as much. Which is the same with almost any polish you put on! But, this part of collection I'm very glad I have!

I'm very please with first half of the collection and I hope you are too!

They sell at Sally's for 8.99 retail and until the end of April they have a sale of B2G1!

Until the next time, keep polishing and be beautiful!

Seriously Serious~Darling Diva

Evening! Hope you all are doing well! I wanted to do a quick blog on this gorgeous polish that I bought recently, especially before I put up the on the China Glaze Hologlam 2013 blog!

So, here we go!

This Polish is a Stunner! I am having so much fun with this one! It sparkles and all that gorgeousness.
I put this one Zoya Raven, and I think this is what gave it's pop! I couldn't wait to get this in the sunlight!

I had No issues with this formula AT all and never have with Darling Diva's polishes! I ended up putting 2 coats of it over Zoya Raven, I think one was enough but it sure did pop a lot more. I can't help but stare at my nails. They even sparkle in without much light! I did end up putting my Zoya Armor topcoat on top because it works better if I use a Zoya polish. However, once I put the topcoat on, it brought it out even more! Seriously Serious is my favorite polish and that is saying something!
This I could see it being over a purple, blue and even a green. I am so glad I got this polish, cause it turned out to be more than I thought it ever would be!

Seriously Serious is sold on Darling Diva's etsy shop: http://www.etsy.com/shop/DarlingDivaPolish She is on vacation right now but check out her facebook page for more up to dates: https://www.facebook.com/DarlingDivaPolish/info this polish was $8-$10 (Sorry can't remember how much I paid for it).

Until then Keep on Polishin' and stay colorful!

I purchased this on my own

Above the Curve~Spring has Sprung

                                                          Spring has Sprung

Today I bring you the Collection of Spring has Sprung by Above the Curve! Above the Curve is a great indie, they raise money to help Shriners. And they are very personable people and if you have any questions they are there to answer you!

So, without further ado, let's get started, in this collection there are 5 polishes. We'll have Sunset Skies, Fields of Tulips, Misty Morning, Rain Kissed Strawberries, and Daisy Lilacs It.

First up, we have Sunset Skies! I have to say this is one of my favorites from the collection! I was so excited to get this! And I have already worn it out in public and got a lot of compliments on it! I for sure would wear this again! The formula on this was amazing, every stroke had the glitter so I didn't have to go fishing for glitter! I also had to put an  undie under it to get the full coverage (3 coats of Sunsket Skies and OTD topcoat), it would have been to thin to do by itself! Picture doesn't do this one justice!

Next we have Rain Kissed Strawberries, now all that know me (especially my bff and husband) knows I do not like pink! BUT, believe it or not, I really like this one! Such a spring/summer color to it! If you are wanting that happy feeling this is the way to go! This is 2-3 coats on top of an undie white polish and no topcoat. This is actually another one of my favorites (yes I said it). The formula on this one was as great as Sunset Skies. And easy to get glitter on every stroke!

Here we have Daisy Lilacs It! As much as I am a purple fan, I have to say this is not my favorite out of the collection, however, I would wear it! It has gold glitter in it that the camera didn't really capture real well. And yes this has an undie as well! This is about 3 coats (to be satisfied) and no topcoat. Formula was good too, I am just not sure how to describe why this wouldn't be my favorite! BUT if you are purple fan, I would get this to just have in my collections of purple.

This is Misty Morning, I so would wear this one again and during summer time! I did however have a bit of a problem with the glitter as it has bigger glitter in it than the others! But other than that, it is a gorgeous blue and yes again another favorite! Formula was great, just had the little issue getting the bigger glitter to come out and lay down properly. Other than that I would so recommend this! 3 coats and no topcoat.

Last but certainly not least, we have Field of Tulips.. (sorry tried to get a closer pic of it). Oh my, when I recieved this polish I was elated. I couldn't believe I actually get to own this one (and Sunset Skies). This baby, is a beauty and the green pastel reminds me of everything started to turn back green and how pretty that is! This as well (as all of them) have an undie and is about 3 coats, no topcoat!

Overall, I'm soo happy with this collection. This is hands down a great collection by Above the Curve! And all the hard work they put into this collection really paid off! Oh, I should mention that this collection was given to me as a birthday gift last week from a great friend who knew I would love it! And she was right!

If you haven't heard of Above the Curve, I would seriously seriously recommend them to you all and go check out their facebook page!

They do a Fun Friday every Friday and giveaways on their Fun Fridays!

Puzzled and Polished

Today on the blog I have a very special post! April is known for Autsim month. April 2nd is/was celebrated as you wear blue to show your support to Autsim.

Autism is a disorder of neural development characterized by impaired social interaction and communication, and by restricted and repetitive behavior

That is just what I found on it, and I know there are other aspects.

I am here to show off some nail polish jewelry! It Jewelry that you can wear made with nail polish. I have a good friend that her and her husband have a facebook page to raise awareness and money for research for Autism and for their son who has Autsim. And she makes jewelry polish and I happen to have some of her amazing work. These pieces are just amazing and you can't go with them!

I have several pictures to show you on 3 pieces that I have, so here we go!

This gorgeous (and I mean gorgeous) ring is made with Zoya Storm (in the sunlight, no flash)

                                       With Flash~Zoya Storm

Earrings to match~Zoya Storm (no flash)

                              Earrings to match~Zoya Storm (flash)
In love with these earrings and the other one check out below!

This is made with Zoya Aurora (Flash)

                                   Zoya~Aurora (without flash)

Zoya~ Storm ring inside light (flash)

As you see, all these pics of the pieces I have are absolutely stunning, I have gotten a lot of compliments on the earrings and rings! I also know that Mandy makes hair pins (I have yet to get those, will be getting next). My mom fell in love with the Zoya~ Storm earrings, she had me buy her a pair!

Best part is this is for a great cause, and to bring awareness and raise money for Autism. As we all know and want is to find a cure or a way to find a way to make Autism disappear. She has a shop on her facebook page go check it out and tell her I sent her! She is also having a giveaway going on right now. And her prices are great!!

These gorgeous pieces are amazing to have and for a good cause/reason! Wait are you waiting for! :D

Go check her and husband's work and facebook out!

I can't say enough how great this is to do and how pretty the pieces are!

Until next time keep on polishing and have happy moments!!!

L.A. Girl 3D Effect~Teal Dimensions

Hey Everyone!

I hope everyone had a great Easter! I know we sure did. Well, Mani's Desires had a very successful giveaway! As we celebrated 15 likes on facebook. Next contest will be when we geto 50 (can't wait)!

I celebrated a big milestone yesterday (my birthday) 30 years old! Eek can't believe it. So, I want to share and show off my birthday mani! So, here we go.

I had on (that I received as a birthday gift) LA Girls 3D Effect Teal Dimension! This polish is a GORGEOUS Teal color! I fell in love immediately! Here let me show you:

To give an idea, of how sparkly it is!

Tried to get the holoness but definitely can't deny that isn't there in person.

Look how gorgeous this! Its to die for!
Holo is definitely there!! This color is kinda camera shy!

Let me tell you about this polish! Holy Holoness, When you get it in better light, it is hard not to just sit and stare at your fingers. When I put this on I thought it would be rough and topcoat thirsty, but oh it proved me wrong!

This polish was soo smooth to put on, I first took a picture with 2 coats and decided I needed another coat, so this ended up being 3 coats. You could get away with 2 but I felt better with 3. Of Course I used my Out The Door Topcoat!

I was soo excited to get this polish in the mail, I knew I needed to put it on soon! This is another one that won the poll vote on my facebook page and great choice! No staining either, and I have to say I was kinda afraid that it would!

I have nothing but GREAT things to say about this polish! It would definitely be a 'go to polish' when the occasion arises!

There was no streakiness in putting this on, and like I said I thought it would be rough to feel after I got it on and Topcoat thirsty but it was not! One coat of Out the Door and I was good too go! And just let the sparkles shine thru! And it felt like glass on my tips (that is how smooth it is)

If you don't have this polish, I suggest you go out to a Rite Aid and buy it now! Apparently they are hard to find! I honestly cannot tell you how much it retails for as this was given to me as a birthday gift! But OH MY its Gorgeous (can't say that enough).

On the next post, I will have a very special post about a couple who is raising money for autism with a few different things and one of them is polish jewelry. I am privilaged to own a few pieces of theirs! Keep an eye out for that!

Until later and keep on polishin'!
