365 Days of Color's One Colorful Year

Hey all! Hope this post finds ya'll doing great! Today I bring you 365 Days of Color's One Colorful Year! This is a LE (limited edition) polish, she only made 60 of these polishes, it is all the glitters she used thru out the past year. And this is what she decided to create for her anniversary. So without further ado, let's get to the pictures to show this beauty off!

As you see I ot #8 out of 60 from the LE. Not bad not bad at all.

This is 2 coats of One Colorful Year without flash in the sun on top of OPI White Crackle (that is all I could find right off the bat).

This is with Flash inside the house and as you see how jammed pack glitter it is, btw no topcoat on this pic or the one above.

And finally I put a couple of coats of One Colorful Year over Butter London Jasper. Glitter bomb for sure but it in a very good good way! This does have an NYC topcoat ontop

This was an easy application of a glitter polish. I didn't have to dig for any of the different sizes of glitters and that I LOVE. This polish does have a grey crelly base to it and I could EASILY see a jelly sandwhich with this polish (I might do that one day and post a pic on my facebook page). I really can't say anything bad about this polish except its Limited Edition and wish everyone could get it (especially the glitter lovers).

You have triangles, tiny holo, squares, hexagons of glitter in this bottle! This polish would be awesome also for a gradient. Anyways, this is a great polish and enjoyed swatching it for you all and myself.

Until Next Time Keep on and Keep Colorful!

China Glaze Hologlam part 2

Hey Everyone! Hope this post find everyone great! Today I bring you the rest of the China Glaze Hologlam 2013. I'm gonna try to keep it brief since I pretty much explained in the first part of the post! So, let's get started!

When Stars Collide. This one is pretty neat. I believe it is suppose to be a dark purple but it is so dark that it kinda looks brown with holo. Which I love (I love the color brown, not sure why). Anyways! This one I posted on my facebook page when I put it on the first time and when the sun hits it, my oh my! Anywho, formula was great on this one, 2 coats and there ya go! This is one of my favorites!

Galactic Gray~ I had a picture outside this day but it didn't turn out real well so that is why you see a screen in the background! Between this one and When Stars Collide, I wanted them the most. And I'm not disappointed in either of them. I wanna say that these two might slightly have the most holo in them! The formula was great on this one. I have to say as much as I love this one, I am not sure if I would wear it again, maybe only because I don't have much to wear with it (hehe). No topcoats on any of these and all are 2 coats.

This is Cosmic Dust. Light pretty blue linear holo, this is a very pretty blue but kinda reminds me of the one from Color Club. When the sun hit this it is amazing! It does have a possiblity to be a strong holo effect in the sun.

Get Outta My Space. A very light pink linear holo. This one for sure reminds  me and looks like Fashion Addicts from Color Club (and I like that one a lot). This is a very soft pink in natural light (like in the house) and when the sun hits it. Light pink with holo goodness. It could be strong on the holo part that is for sure though.

Take a Trek. Yep another one of my favorites. This one was kinda camera shy, plus the sun was going down :(... But when you see it in the sun it was AHMAZING.. between this one and When Stars Collide, I couldn't stop staring at my nails. A very pretty blue and not to deep of a blue either. It is one of my favorites for sure! If you can get any of them, this one and When Stars Collide FOR SURE!

Not in this Galaxy. How funny is this that this is the last one I picked up and the last to blog about, anyways, I was disappointed in this one. Even when I had great light on it and when the sun hit it (when it was out) the holo was not pronnounced. This made me sad, because I was kinda excited about getting this polish and then not much holo goodness came from it. It is a pretty color, definitely didn't think it was a pinker color though. Anyways, if you want it just for the color that is fine just don't expect the holo to be there much.

Overall the China Glaze Hologlam 2013 is pretty fair/good. I do have my favorites in this collection and was excited to get some and be disappointed. I'm not sure I would want to have the WHOLE collection. From what I understand the harder to get ones from the very first collection of China Glaze's holos that they were better! These aren't bad just some are better than others.

You can find them at Sally's Beauty Supply Store; retails 8.99
