China Glaze 2013 Summer Texture

Hey ya'll! Hope you all are having a fantastic week! Today I bring you the collection of China Glaze 2013 Summer Textures! This post I plan on posting all the pictures and then give my thoughts on the whole set! I do want to make note that, my nails don't look the best as I did seem have a problem removing the polishes as I was swatching for this blog. But more on that later! Let's get to the pictures (I will put the name on the bottom of the pictures).

                 Bump & Grind

                                                                       Unrefined

                                                                  Itty, Bitty & Gritty

                                                                       Of Coarse!

                                                                     In The Rough

                                                                   Toe-Tally Textured

Of Coarse! With Two coats of Topcoat!

Overall, this collection isn't bad! I see this collection definitely only for summer (but that is me). If you are going to the beach this summer for vacation or just what you do and are looking for a summery collection for that purpose, this is one of those collections I could easily see at the beach! Such as for sure Of Coarse! When I look at this polish I can see the blue waters and wishing I was at the beach!

If you are looking for a toe popping polish just for flip flopping wearing! I highly suggest In the Rough and Toe- Tally Textured! They just look like they would be great to put on while wearing flip flops. And Summer is for flip flops :)!

My downfalls on this collection is: 3 out of the 6 are a lot more pink than I would want! I don't have a problem with pink in summer collections BUT 3 of them? If I had to chose one of the pinks it would be Itty, Bitty & Gritty. I love the coral that I can see in it! Another downfall on this collections is: Seems that the pink stain, it could be me because I didn't prepare my nails like I normally do, so in saying that I'm willing to give the pink ones a chance again! Last downfall is as I mentioned in the beginning was the cleanup. Taking the polishes off almost was a nightmare, the grittiness in them that makes the textured part in the polishes makes it really gritty and hard to get off, I had to use hand sanitizer to make my hands feel like I was accomplishing getting the grittiness off.

If those are my only downfalls on this collection! I would say it is kinda of a success. Overall, I like these polishes and not a bad collection! If I had to compare them to the OPI and Zoya textured polishes, hands down OPI and Zoya would win! Hope this helps make up your mind! I wouldn't trade this collection cause I could definitely see them being used during the summer! I do wish they weren't so topcoat thirsty, but that is what you get with textured polishes!

Tip: If you use felt to remove your polish, felt is GREAT for removing these polishes (that I posted today). I found it did take a lot of the grittiness away too!

You can find at Sally's Beauty Supply stores: Retails for $5.99-$6.99

Until later Keep Calm and Colorful!
